William G. McKelvey
President
In 1981 William McKelvey founded A.M. Franklin Insurance. From 1975 through 2006, William McKelvey also owned Medical Claims Service, Inc. (MCS) a leading TPA in Boston, New Jersey and West Virginia. MCS was sold to an affiliate of a New York Blue Cross Blue Shield plan in 2006. The sale of MCS now enables William McKelvey to concentrate on the stop loss side of the business, as well as the next frontier of group medical cost containment; International Health Care, integrated with employer sponsored plans. AMF is a Managing General Underwriter (MGU) for American Fidelity Assurance and Canada Life. These insurers each carries an A M Best Rating of A+. AMF underwrites group medical stop loss insurance over employer sponsored self insured group medical and dental programs. With over 35 years of experience in the industry, William continues to look for innovative ways to reduce the escalating cost of health care in the United States.

David Sayles
Executive V.P.
David Sayles began his career in employee benefits with Sun Life Financial in June 1986. During his time at Sun Life, David Sayles worked in many different sales and sales manager roles. Due to his innate ability to provide leadership in the marketplace, he was assigned the duty of running two offices in Tampa, FL and Atlanta, GA. Following his departure from Sun Life in order to explore more of an entrepreneur MGU, David Sayles joined A M Franklin in 2005. David continues to utilize his strong negotiation skills with stop-loss contracts and renewals, and he plays an important role in working all aspects of underwriting for new business, renewals and claims with brokers, consultants, TPA's and ASO carriers.

Matt McKelvey
Sales/Marketing Representative
After graduating Quinnipiac University, Matt McKelvey began introducing new marketing strategies for AMF Risk Management Solutions' products with a focus on brand and social media. During this time, Matt McKelvey worked on solidifying existing and new producer relationships which later evolved into a sales role.

Paul Lesslie
Controller
Paul Lesslie has over 10 years experience working with carriers, MGUs, and TPAs. Paul's primary focus is on financial reporting, banking relations, and the overall accounting concerns of AMF Risk Management Solutions.

Terri Powell
Manager of Underwriting
Terri Powell joined AMF in 2000 in concurrent positions for the MGU and Medical Claims Service (MCS), TPA. Her responsibilities included stop loss underwriting and sales/marketing support. As Manager of Underwriting, she oversees a junior underwriting staff and works closely with Bill McKelvey and senior underwriters to assess, analyze and develop competitive solutions for employer sponsored programs. Terri works in conjunction with AMF operations in the areas of Sales, Accounting and Claims to ensure compliance with company and reinsurance requirements.
