Group Health Insurance 45% Rate Reduction The existing program was fully insured with a Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plan. By raising the deductible from $500 to $5,000, the fully insured rates were reduced by 45%. A custom benefit plan design was provided to provide employees with a deductible reimbursement plan. The benefits on the deductible portion of the plan were designed to mimic the replaced fully insured benefits. The plan was self funded, administered by a Third Party Administrator, and AMF provided stop loss insurance to reduce the employer's liability exposure. The policy covered claims for the group of 35 employees at a maximum cost that would not exceed their otherwise fully insured renewal premium. International Health Plan Option

The U.S. health care system will not improve in cost or quality until foreign and or real domestic competition is introduced. AMF has launched the first turnkey solution to an employer sponsored international health plan option. Financial incentives are provided to encourage care in Costa Rica and other countries where savings can exceed 70%, and the quality of care is equal to or greater than that provided in the United States.
